100k Individual Race

Where: The American River Parkway at 8690 La Riviera Dr, Sacramento, CA

What: This the USATF National 100k Road Championships, and to compete for prize money and/or age group awards, you must be a current USATF member. The course is a USATF certified 10k loop with a short dog leg, to be run clockwise 10 times. Current USATF members can run qualifying times for the 100k National Team. For men, that time is sub 7:20. For women the qualifying time is sub 8:40. Open and age group records can be set, so be aware that rules regarding pacing will be strictly enforced. Athletes who participate in this competition may be subject to formal drug testing in accordance with USATF and IAAF rules, in accordance with USOC, USADA, or IAAF procedures. Athletes found, after a disciplinary hearing, to be positive for prohibited substances, as defined by the WADA Code and/or IAAF, or who refuse to be tested, will be disqualified from this event and may lose eligibility for future competitions. Any prize money payable to an athlete who has tested positive shall be withheld until the final disposition of all disciplinary proceedings. BEWARE: Some prescriptions, over the counter medications, and nutritional supplements may contain prohibited substances.
